In the order I met them.

TimGill

Tim Gill:

This fella was my best friend in High School.  Then he became one of the most talented Directors of Photography I've ever met.  He has an amazing gift, a huge heart, and has been kind enough to work with me on a professional level. He is still the very best kind of friend any person could ask for.  Tim conceptualized, directed, filmed and edited 'Nobody's Fault' for me.  He is a native of Savannah, Ga.  -Oh, and he has a tendency to mumble.

Sharon Fox

Sharon Fox:

We bumped into each other in the 90's, dated, formed 3 bands and raised two children after tying the knot in 1994.  We took photography classes together and found out I needed to play music.  She is a professional photographer now, my greatest supporter, creative collaborator, beautiful wife and mother to my daughters.  Sharon does all of the photography for my projects.  She was the drummer in Drench (with Eric Weaver and myself) and thinks Tim Gill has pretty eyes...which he does.

Eric Weaver

Eric Weaver:

We met at a magazine rack in the early 90's, became bandmates (Drench) and great friends in Southeast Missouri.  He then ran off to pursue a career in Sound Production/ Engineering and became insanely great at it.  He knew that I wanted more out of my recordings than I'd been getting and we reunited over the making of Animule.  He works and lives in Los Angeles, Ca.  He is my Producer, Engineer, Advisor, Enabler and friend.  His dog was out of my dog.

Joshua Blanchard

Joshua Blanchard:

Eric Weavers' best friend (for good reason).  Joshua was writing for, playing guitar and singing in a band that I was fortunate enough to share stages with in our early musical years.  He is a brilliant songwriter, amazing musician, and like Eric, truly phenomenal as a sound engineer (which is how he makes his living).  When he's not making me and other people sound good he invests his creativity in my favorite musical entity...'Black Slang For Sex'.  He also lives and works in L.A.  Joshua Blanchard is what I want to be when I grow up.

Crystal Weaver

Crystal Weaver:

I met Crystal while playing in a club where she worked.  Sharon Fox and Eric Weaver met her at the same time.  Eric married her, quit the band and they began a life of creativity together.  Crystal helped Tim Gill and I during the filming of 'Nobody's Fault' and is a true supporter of all of the people and things that she loves.  She has a motorcycle fettish.

Flower

Flower:

Born in 2001, of Border Collie descent, Flower came into our lives at about 6 weeks old.  She is my most trusted companion, has braved the wilderness and endured angry women with me since we met.  She has heard every version of every song I've ever written and complains very little about my frequent failures.  She is a facelicker (among other things).

John Cranfield

John Cranfield:

As I understand it, Eric Weaver and John went to Engineering school together and remained friends/collaborators after both arrived in Los Angeles and began their careers.  John is a successful engineer but like most, has a background as a musician and agreed to play percussion on Animule, which is how we met.  John took time away from his very busy schedule to help make that record a success for me.  He was a pleasure to work with, selfless and professional...and ran the Beat Police off right on cue.

Joe Ayoub

Joe Ayoub:

Joe had worked with John Cranfield on projects before mine and was brought in as a hired gun bassist for Animule.  No one but John knew what we were in for.  Joe is a musician like no other I've ever met, an irreplaceable personality in every setting and has the coolest hair ever.  I am glad to be able to call him a friend now and am looking forward to more musical adventures with him in the future.  He has his own amazing band, 'Population Game' that I'm sure we'll hear more about in the future.  Joe is prettier than John.

Jocelyn Kay Lee

Jocelyn Kay Lee:

Jocelyn sang background vocals on Animule.  When the project was so near that we were sure we wouldn't find the right female vocalist, Crystal Weaver brought her to our attention and the magic unfolded.  The two became great friends in college in California and now I'm able to call Jocelyn my friend as well.  Jocelyn Kay Lee has her own solo musical career and is a Yoga instructor in California.  She is prettier than Joe.

kellyh

Kelly Hughes:

Multi-media artist Kelly Hughes came into our lives when Sharon met her after moving to Jackson, Mo.  Kelly creates, shows and sells art of a wide variety but has been gracious enough to do illustrations, banners, promotional art and the like for me.  We are also very good friends.  Kelly is a semi-pro blueberry picker.
